Recreating self. Tearing down the old and building up from the foundation. Tricky business. So I have recreated this blog. I'll be blogging about being an atypical yogini. Rounder and older for starters. Blogging about the yoga journey and my thoughts and feelings about teaching yoga.
My last weekend of teacher training is coming up. It has been a long strange trip. Stepping way outside of my Anusara comfort zone and taking a flow yoga teacher training was physically, emotionally and mentally challenging. I have grown as a person and as a yogini. Yet I now feel more secure and comfortable in the choices I've made.
The exposure to different schools of yoga had only deepened my commitment to Anusara and in less than a month I start my Immersion. I am looking forward to delving more into the philosophy and background of the yoga that has changed me inside and out. I'll share a few of the insights that come my way.
Lots of new starts and excitement on the horizon. Bring it on!
